| Soon we will have a full section devoted
to improving and enhancing your performance with our program. For
now here are a few pointers to get you started.
-
Don't try to compete head-to head-with companies
with multi-million dollar advertising budgets.
-
Look for a niche, find keywords that get lots
of searches but don't have many Web pages optimized for them
(a great resource for finding related keywords is WordTracker).
-
Optimize your page for the keywords you have
chosen (put them in the page title and make descriptive text
sentences that use your keywords). Submit to Google and work
to improve your site so it gets on the top page of results for
your keywords.
-
Target specific audiences: For example, if
a large ISP is changing all their e-mail addresses, try to locate
their customer and offer them a domain name with e-mail forwarding
- it gives them a permanent e-mail address regardless if the
ISP changes in the future.
-
Build your own customer base. Make your Web
sites "sticky" so that people return to your site and make repeat
purchases instead of only visiting once. Newsletters and auto-responders
are great for this.
